Tim & Liz Duffy met in 1980 under the almond tree that still grows in the Love Shack when it was the home of the Back Yard Bar. The newest Love Shack, in Cruz Bay, is shaded by the original almond tree that grows through the thatched roof bar. A Swiss Family Robinson-meets- Polynesia design features indoor and outdoor decks linked by rope bridges, a tree house DJ booth, a West Indian cookshack exposition kitchen and a party table with leopard skin booths for seating big tribes of fun seekers.
